Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries (Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone) held a signing ceremony for key projects on September 8, 2021. More than 40 projects have signed contracts with Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone.

The Solar First New Energy R&D Center cooperated by CMEC, Xiamen University College of Materials and Materials, and Solar First Group, is one of the key projects signed this time.

At the same time, the 21^st China International Investment and Trade Fair (CIFIT) held in Xiamen. China International Investment and Trade Fair is a international promotion activity aimed at enhancing two-way investment between China and foreign countries. It is held between September 8th to 11th every year in Xiamen, China . For more than two decades, the CIFIT has developed into one of the most influential international investment events in the world.

The theme of 21^st CIFIT is "New International Investment Opportunities under the New Development Pattern". Popular trends and key industry achievements such as green economy, carbon peak carbon neutrality, digital economy, etc. showed at this event.

Relying on the platform of the CIFIT, the project of Solar First New Energy R&D Center was signed on the afternoon of September 8. It was launched in cooperation with CMEC, Xiamen University, Xiamen National Torch High-tech Zone, People's Government of Jimei District of Xiamen, and Xiamen Information Group.

The Solar First New Energy R&D Center project is a collection of new energy scientific research institutions, and was invested and established by Xiamen Solar First Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

Xiamen Solar First will cooperate with the College of Materials of Xiamen University in the Xiamen Software Park phase Ⅲ, including the establishment of a new energy technology export base, an energy storage production, education and research base, a new energy application R&D center, and a carbon neutral industry-university-research integrated research center for the BRICS. They will serve as the technical support platform for CMEC to carry out project investment in Xiamen, the main company implementing applications, and as the main capital injection platform.

In the context of global climate change and the adjustment of national energy structure, Xiamen Solar First will cooperate with CMEC to support the development of the Solar First New Energy R&D Center project, and engage to China carbon peak and carbon neutrality calling.
