Solar First Group Supports Global Green Development: Armenia’s Solar-5 Government PV Project Connected to Grid

On October 2, 2022, the 6.784-megawatt Solar-5 government photovoltaic power station in Armenia was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project fully adopted the zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated fixed brackets of Solar First Group.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate an average of 9.98 million kWh annually – equivalent to saving about 3,043.90 tons of standard coal, reducing about 8,123.72 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and about 2,714.56 tons of dust emissions. The economic and social benefits are substantial, contributing to global green development.

Armenia is mountainous, with 90% of its territory lying above 1,000 meters, posing harsh natural conditions. This project is located in the Axberq Mountain area. Solar First Group provided optimal tilt-angle fixed bracket products to fully utilize the region’s abundant sunlight. After completion, the owner and general contractor highly praised the fixed brackets and PV project solutions delivered by Solar First Group.
