Solar First Stands Out at Malaysia Green Energy Expo with Diverse PV Solutions

From October 15‑17, the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) successfully concluded at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Solar First showcased its diverse product portfolio – including rooftop mounting systems, ground‑mounted systems, tracking systems, floating PV systems, and BIPV carports – at Booth 1040 in Hall 1, highlighting comprehensive photovoltaic solutions for various scenarios and making Solar First a standout feature of the event.

Diverse Product Portfolio, Precisely Tailored for Southeast Asia’s Climate

Malaysia is a key renewable energy market in Southeast Asia. According to the Malaysia Renewable Energy Roadmap (MyRER), the government targets 31% renewable energy by 2025 and 70% by 2050. To address local high temperatures, humidity, and coastal conditions, Solar First’s products feature optimizations in corrosion resistance, structural stability, and ease of installation. Rooftop systems are lightweight yet sturdy; ground systems offer high versatility for complex terrains; tracking systems, via enhanced structural design and intelligent control, improve power generation efficiency and reliability for large‑scale ground stations.

Expanding Application Scenarios, Supporting Diversified Energy

The BIPV carport integrates PV generation with building functions, providing clean electricity, shade, rain protection, and vehicle shelter – aligning with Malaysia’s green building and urban sustainability drive. The floating PV system utilizes reservoirs and lakes, saving land and leveraging water cooling to boost efficiency. Research indicates Malaysia’s floating PV potential is approximately 47‑109 GWh annually, offering innovative local solutions.

Deepening Southeast Asian Presence, Jointly Promoting Green Transition

Solar First actively participates in Malaysia’s renewable energy plans, supported by policies such as Green Electricity Tariff (GET) and Net Energy Metering 3.0 (NEM 3.0). The exhibition demonstrated the group’s technical strength in mounting and system integration, while deepening cooperation with local enterprises, project owners, and industry associations. The Solar First team held in‑depth discussions, gaining insights into local policies, project needs, and environmental challenges – laying a solid foundation for future customized products and services.

Looking ahead, Solar First will continue driving technological innovation, closely integrating with Malaysian and Southeast Asian market characteristics. The company will persistently optimize product design, enhance local service capabilities, and work hand‑in‑hand with partners to advance regional clean energy development, collectively pioneering a low‑carbon and sustainable energy future.
