The wave-shaped clamp is specifically designed for corrugated steel roof tiles. Its curved bottom surface conforms to the tile peaks, and it works with self-tapping screws to lock the purlins, ensuring a stable installation of the photovoltaic bracket. Made of aluminum alloy, it is weather-resistant, durable, and easy to install.

The corrugated clamp is a photovoltaic support connector specifically designed for corrugated corrugated steel sheet (i.e., sinusoidal or arc-shaped corrugated steel sheet) roofs. Corrugated corrugated steel sheets are characterized by continuous, rounded transitions between crests and troughs, commonly found in early factories, warehouses, and carports.
The clamp's bottom is designed with a curved surface that perfectly conforms to the arc crests of the corrugated steel sheet. Stainless steel self-tapping screws penetrate the clamp's base plate and the corrugated steel sheet, securely locking it to the steel purlins of the roof below. This safely transfers the load of the photovoltaic modules and support structure to the main building structure, ensuring the entire photovoltaic system has excellent wind and snow resistance.

Product Components

Advantages
▶ Conformal Fit, Uniform Stress Distribution
The bottom curvature of the clamp perfectly matches the crest of the corrugated tile, preventing damage to the tile surface after locking. The large contact area ensures uniform stress distribution.
▶ Structural Safety, Strong Wind Resistance
The load is directly transferred to the purlins, capable of withstanding winds exceeding level 12, meeting photovoltaic power station safety standards.
▶ Easy Installation
Modular design requires only positioning, locking, and fixing the guide rails on-site, resulting in high construction efficiency.
▶ Durable Material
Constructed from 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, anodized for corrosion resistance, and an outdoor lifespan of ≥25 years.

Applicable Scenarios
▪ Old factory roofs: Especially photovoltaic (PV) retrofitting of light steel factory roofs using corrugated corrugated steel sheets.
▪ Agricultural greenhouses: Greenhouses and livestock sheds with arched corrugated corrugated steel sheet roofs.
▪ Temporary or simple structures: PV installation on corrugated corrugated steel sheet roofs for carports, warehouses, etc.
▪ Distributed PV power stations: Any industrial, commercial, or residential project using corrugated corrugated corrugated steel sheets as roofing.
Important Notes:
▶ Tile Type Confirmation
Always measure the crest width, height, and curvature of the corrugated sheet beforehand. Select a clamp with a perfectly matching curvature; otherwise, it may not adhere properly or could damage the sheet surface.
▶ Purlin Targeting is Essential
Self-tapping screws must penetrate the corrugated steel sheet and be driven into the underlying steel purlin (effective depth ≥ 20mm). They cannot simply be fixed to the sheet.
▶ Strict Waterproofing
EPDM waterproof washers must be installed at the self-tapping screw penetration point, and weather-resistant silicone sealant (such as Dow Corning or Sika) must be applied to the contact surface between the screw head and the clamp.
▶ Torque Control
Do not use excessive torque when tightening self-tapping screws to prevent stripping or crushing of the corrugations. Hex socket head cap screws must be tightened to the specified value to prevent loosening.
▶ Regular Inspection
It is recommended to check for bolt loosening and sealant aging every six months or after windy weather.
Summary
The corrugated clamp is a photovoltaic support connection solution specifically developed for corrugated corrugated steel sheets (arc-shaped corrugated sheets). Its core design features an arc-shaped fit combined with self-tapping screws for secure mounting, safely transferring the load to the roof purlins and ensuring a stable installation of the photovoltaic power station.
When selecting corrugated clamps, matching the sheet type is paramount. They should be paired with stainless steel self-tapping screws and reliable waterproofing measures, and the installation torque requirements must be strictly adhered to. Only by doing so can the safety, stability, and leak-free operation of the photovoltaic system be guaranteed for its 20-year lifespan.
